On the occasion of the second anniversary of the inauguration of “Fallen Diplomats Memorial” in Ottawa and the bitter coincidence with the tragic killing of Canadian diplomat Annemarie Desloges during the Kenya Mall terrorist attack on this day last year, we once again extend our heartfelt respects to cherished memories of all fallen diplomats and terror victims.

“Fallen Diplomats Memorial”, which was erected for the memory of Colonel Atilla Altıkat, Military Attaché of Turkish Embassy who was murdered by Armenian terrorists on August  27, 1982 in Ottawa and all fallen diplomats, was inaugurated by Prime Minister H.E. Ahmet Davutoglu during his previous capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Honourable John Baird, Minister of Foreign Affairs two years ago on September 20, 2012.

The first anniversary of the inauguration of this monument and the commemoration ceremony on September 22, 2013 coincided with the Kenya Mall terrorist attack and the tragic killing of Canadian diplomat Annemarie Desloges along with 68 innocent civilians.

With all pains of our losses to terrorism in our hearts and minds, we condemn once again all forms of terrorism around the world which is the enemy of entire humanity.
